Hopkins No=Eql® and Hopkins Shorty® Lures.
No=Eql® lures are the original Hopkins® Lures. They resemble mullet or
herring-type bait fish. Shorty® lures look like butterfish or shad-type bait fish and are
much more compact. Both lures have relatively thick bodies. They are heavier than
conventional spoons of the same length and can be cast much farther.
Features:
Amazing versatility - used for jigging, casting, trolling
and ice fishing
Hammered stainless steel finish
Natural swimming action
Quality construction - body of rust-proof stainless steel
Hopkins Smoothie®. The hammered
pattern is left off these lures, producing a smooth sparkling finish that provides a more
adhesive surface to which prismatic tapes may be affixed. A darker tape is applied to one
side of the lure and a lighter one to the other to simulate the backs and bellies of
baitfish. Eyes are added for realism and are placed at the hook end of the lure.
Features:
Smooth polished stainless steel or gold plated stainless
steel bodies
