I've used these on San Diego long range trips. These jigs are a great value and really work well on yellowtails. Who wants to spend twice as much on a designer name? OTI has quality stuff here with good components and sturdy paint. And what's nice is that it doesn't hurt the wallet so much when you get rocked by a big yellow.
I've used these in the blue 200g and 300g at Alijos Rocks and Cedros Island with great results. At times they'll REALLY outfish traditional irons, I guess because they're so flashy. When the iron bite seems slow, I'll switch outfits to my jigger and these things really work great. I'm never going south without a handful of vertical jigs, and I haven't found anything better than Jagers for quality/price.
Pros:Quality of construction.
