I love these hooks that I buy in bulk. I usually smash down the ends to make them barbless. Overall, great product and the best out there.
Best Tuna trebles

Not much to say for a review but the best treble hooks you can buy for tuna fishing. The strength in these hooks is amazing and have used them on Giant Bluefin and they hold up. Just have to make sure after every trip you rinse them with freshwater very well. Just like any other hook they will rust especially in the higher salinity waters where pelagic species are found.

Awesome hooks for tuna or other strong tropical species.
ProsSharp and strong

I use these hooks on my lures that I cast at tuna. I swap out the standard hooks on my Halco lures and use these. These will not bend on a big yellowfin the way I heard the stock Halco hooks have.

Top Notch Trebles
March 14, 2015
I install ST-66 trebles on pretty much all of my tuna poppers. These hooks are just right in that application.
Pros- Heavy wire gauge, but not too heavy - Sticky sharp from the factory - Good plating
Cons- Kind of pricey but you really are getting great hooks

Owner has nailed it with their ST series of treble hooks. The 66 version is 4X and I use them to replace the stock trebles on ALL my offshore plugs (don't forget to upgrade the split rings too). Its hard believe Owner makes a 76 series (5X) also, they must be THICK--these already raise my hackles when I handle them. Get a GOOD set of ring pliers, I use the ones from HPA and they make a difficult task (and often dangerous) seem straight forward. Good corrosion resistance. HIGHLY recommend.
ProsScary sharp, excellent value.
Great heavy duty treble

Excellent for heavy duty applications - catfish, big northern pike ect, very reliable
Don't fish without them

When you get a lure the stock hooks are always slender and will bend back on large Amberjack unless you replace them with this style hook. The thick shank does the trick. No more bent or straightened hooks and lost fish. After all you do to go fishing with weather and fuel costs it's a shame not to get the correct hook into the mouth of your fish.
ProsSharp and won't bend or straighten.

holds up well in salt, strong, sharp.

these hooks are super sharp and strong. this is my go to hook for king mackerel fishing whether it be on the pier or on a boat. the corrosion protective coating will keep your hook sharp. I had some in my box that were used over a year ago and were still needle sharp.
Prossharp, stays sharp after use in saltwater. strong
