Built for Kayak Anglers
February 23, 2015
3600 series Waterproof Plano boxes abound on my Hobie kayak. They are as equally well suited for organizing terminal tackle as they are holding 9 Rat-L-Trap lures, or a selection of Mirrolures. With the proximity we kayak anglers are to the saltwater and spray of the Chesapeake Bay, it is paramount that we keep our gear out of the water and dry to extend the life of our investments. The Plano case to me, is as important an investment as my Van Staal is, because keeping the water out and our gear ready to fish is essential.
Pros:Waterproof, dividers help keep terminal tackle from jumbling,
Cons:With 3 snap closures it is not a quick or quiet to open or close. Price you pay for security and staying dry.
