Maybe good for my kids' rods
June 11, 2016
Maybe it's because I have been using ABS or Pvc to make my own specific to the length of my rods but this felt very thin and cheap. The wheels on this thing are absolutely useless. Its barely long enough to carry the majority of my rods but would work if I packed it with my kids snoopy and my little pony zebco rods.

Survived LaGuardia airport...
August 15, 2014
I've only traveled once with this rod. It was on a trip to Cabo from New York through the dreaded LaGuardia airport. I had three expensive rods in it; two jigging rods and one popping rod. The rods survived and the case looks fine with a few small scratches due to the inept baggage handlers in LGA airport. The wheels worked fine and were still attached at the end of the trip, and there was no real damage done to the case (not for a lack of effort on the airport personnel's behalf). It's plenty roomy...I I packed some dirty laundry in it for the way home! My only complaint is that it is difficult to find a proper TSA approved lock for the case. I ordered it last minute so I didn't have a lot of time to shop around for a lock. Nothing I found had a long enough span. Other than that, great case!

Brought this item for a trip to Jamaica. I could not go there again without surf fishing. I would recommend this item for anyone who travels and likes to take their gear.

Dimensions? How many rods can it hold?
67" or extends to 112"x11.5"x8.5" Holds rods up to 9ft and can hold 10 of a smaller sized rod easily. This is a huge travel case.
