Great lure for Stripers
May 3, 2015
Great jig, I own a lot of them and they are my favorite jig for stripers when they are feeding on baitfish. I highly recommend it!

These lures bring the fish in on the Chesapeake. Stripers really attack these lures, especially when they are attacking bay anchovies.

Do these jigs swim.....say like a hopkins shorty when retrieved from the beach with a steady retrieve? Thanks.
Please follow these links to check out a couple videos on how the jig swims.... Thank you! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CbSjIgC6U0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgTBoX4Enis It flutters (as shown in the second link), the flutter depends on how quickly or slowly you jig it and how erratically you lift and drop your rod. It seems to have a smoothness to its erratic style.

How do you suggest to fish these from the shore? Thank you.
These would be best used as a cast and fast retrieve to keep the lure off the bottom because they are fast sinking lures. If you are fishing a sandy bottom shore, you could use a slower jerk motion which creates a flutter off the sandy bottom.
