I have used these for 8 months now. I have 4 of them coupled them with Chronarch HE7's spooled with 40 and 50# braid. Primary duty is sight casting to Cobia, Tripletail, and Mangrove Snapper, as well as jigging for red snapper on the North Gulf of Mexico. I have also used them soaking bait on the bottom for bull reds in the passes and jetties. They have performed excellently and are quite capable to handle the 1/2-1 oz. lead heads that I use. The only caveat is that like most other rods with a line rating, the line rating is too broad. I believe the 30-65# rating would be more accurately described at 30-50#s. If you are going to use 20# braid the 15-30# rods will suffice, if you want to use 30#, I would use the 20-50# rods, and up to 50# seems to be well suited for the 30-65# rod.
Cons:Too broad a line rating
