light and solid
January 17, 2013
bought this rod for larger blackfish and winter codfishing requiring a faster tip and backbone in deeper water. Yup, good choice. Used it a few times and performed very nicely. Very light but handles heavier weights up to 20 onz with no problem. Easy to feel and see bites. Backbone is awesome- easily handled double header giant cbass on offshore wrecks. Foregrip is larger than I like but considering using it for jigging tuna next fall to replace my heavier jigging rod and will love it for that.
Pros:light weight, sensitivity, backbone, cost.
Cons:foregrip is wide for my hands.
