SPRO Power Split Rings provide a heavy pound test in a compact size. This allows for unbelievable strength, more than average split rings. They are made from quality stainless steel material. These SPRO rings are made to hold up in rough fishing conditions.

I bought these to connect to my tie on leaders or fluro/mono connections to lures instead of snap on swivels. The snap on swivels are bulky and have many parts that can break under certain circumstances. I am looking to using these this summer and see if they hold up and give a nice presentation of the lures, since I will be getting rid of the swivel aspect.
ProsWith split ring pliers, easy enough to open, seem tough and sturdy
ConsWithout split ring pliers, hard to open up. But that is expected.

Extremely strong for their size and rating. Good finish on rings and takes some strength to split the ring to attach to lure which is a good thing.
ConsA hair bigger than I would prefer.

Great for use on trolling spoons and teasers. Added these on the spoons and teasers I make up and have had no issues. Seem to hold up ok in saltwater as well. Seem very strong.

I use these to attach hook on my hand tied spoons. These are strong and durable and hold up well for even when trolled on lures in saltwater. Also use these to add spinners to some trolling lures.
