Perfect fit, durable, great for wetsuiting
January 23, 2016
This is the second time I purchased these. So far first pair lasted me 2 seasons of hardcore wetsuit surfcasting, Montauk and Block. Great sticky grip even when wet. Keeps hands relatively warm, even when wet. Great kevlar casting fingertip means hours of comfortable, safe casting w/ braid, not having to deal with hockey tape that inevitably pulls off after it gets wet. Stormr makes quality gear.
ProsDurable; good grip when wet; kevlar casting fingertip, warm when wet

These 2 mm gloves are not all that warm. They are ok for a chilly day but not a cold one. As other reviewers have mentioned, the seams are bulky.

Really comfortable warm gloves
December 23, 2015
The gloves are nice and warm, not too thick but it does take some getting used to especially holding a rod and reel.they are waterproof (tested it). I havent worn them outside since we are having really warm weather, but they look like they will handle to extreme cold. Pleased with the purchase
ProsWindproof Waterproof Warm Velcro straps are pretty good quality Sizing runs a bit large
ConsOther than the price, nothing at all

Im not a fan of wearing gloves but these are ok. They fit tight but i guess they have to be, so you can still use your fingers. I would recommend them.
ProsKeep your hands somewhat warm.
Late season must have

If I don't wear gloves in the later months of the season, I can't fish. The Stormr gloves do the trick keeping my hands warm and dry.

I received a pair of these as a gift recently and am very impressed. I've used other neoprene gloves in the past that work well, but they could not be used while surf casting braided line. These gloves have no issues with that task. I recently used them on the beach and noticed a few things right from the start. They fit very well, and enable me to have the dexterity needed to do everything I need to do while surf casting with the exception of tying knots (but to be fair I didn't bother trying). The strap on the outside of the gloves helps keep the velcro closure out of the way while casting or doing other tasks. The kevlar tipped thumb and index fingers performed flawlessly with casting braid. The only gripe I have is that these gloves are not as warm as other neoprene gloves I've used in the past, but this isn't that big of a deal if you ask me.
ProsHandle braid very well Comfortable fit Good strap closure placement
ConsNot as warm as other neoprene gloves I've used.

Not a good match for my needs
October 26, 2014
These are well made gloves and I really wanted like them. The neoprene is pretty effective in keeping your hands warm. The problem for me is that the neoprene is a bit "stiff" which makes it difficult for me to feel the line while casting. It makes it difficult for me to time the release of the line in the casting motion. I've taken to wearing the left glove (reeling hand) but leaving my right (casting) hand bare. Maybe with a lot of practice I could get used to wearing the glove on my casting hand but not so far.
ProsWell made, good warmth
ConsNeoprene is too rigid for casting hand

Kevlar on both thumb and index finder on both hand. Which is great when I use spinning or casting tackles on different circumstances. Also keep you warm and get you better grip on the your rod. or even holding the fishes...

warm gloves but not waterproof, don't dunk them
May 6, 2014
used these surf fishing the other day - very warm until i got them wet. the gloves are not waterproof and if you dunk them when releasing fish will fill with water - i would however recommend them as a boat glove or in a situation where they will not be soaked in the drink.
Proswarm when dry
Consnot waterproof, fill with water
