The company has been selling line crafted from the best European technology since 1984, and first made a name for itself with its camouflage line, as well as its leader wrist spools — so popular among saltwater guides and anglers. It then became the first to offer affordably priced fluorocarbon on filler spools for fresh and saltwater fishermen alike.

Doesn't make for pretty leader when done.

I'm just starting to get into fishing that doesn't involve a bobber and night crawler. My dad and I bought 30lb of this line and 30lb of Ande leader to try striper fishing in South Carolina. Since my dad hadn't fished since the advent of the Internet and the wealth of fishing knots and theories he'd forgotten or never heard of. So we spent a night learning to tie knots an making rigs. We found that the setups that were made using the Trik line just weren't as pretty. By that I mean the line came out very kinked to the point that hooks and swivels turned upside down and couldn't get them to straighten out. I assume with fishing being as picky as they are, this might be an issue. We eventually used the Trik to practice and Ande leader to make the setups. We also found that Ande leader was easier to tie as well. I've used the practice leaders to pier fish and never had a problem catching blues and some sharks.
ConsLine memory is terrible.

Great floral thinnest and softest I have used

Tackle Direct had it on sale a while back so I took advantage of the great pricing. I love this line as it is very limp and soft plus it has a lot smaller diameter then the other brands. I've used it for salmon leaders, used on a 10 day long range trip out of San Diego have caught BFT, YFT, and big Yellow Tail on it and it holds up. One captain on a recent Baja YT trip thought the 50# was 30# and was hastens to use it. After landing 40# size YT for two days he'd changed his mind about this line.
ProsStrong, Thin, fixable great price.
