These 13 foot, 3-piece blanks feature extra-strong Daiwa SVF (Super High Volume Fiber) Nanoplus construction that offers remarkable strength despite their thin wall and lightweight feel. Through the use of Nano-resin technology, SVF Nanoplus blanks are lighter and have increased sensitivity over standard SVF blanks due to their higher carbon density. The three section blank joins together with Daiwa's unique V-Joint Technology where the ferrules bend to avoid any rod blank flatness and aids in longer casting abilities. With this design, the Tournament Ballistic Surf Rods have an uninterrupted bend for an action that behaves much like a single piece rod.
