Deadly Dick Long Casting / Jigging Lures are excellent for surf casting, deep jigging while drift fishing and even trolling. They are very popular along the east coast of the the USA for Striped Bass & Blue Fish. Vary the speed of retrieval to create the action you desire and the fish won't say no.

Deadly Dick Long Casting / Jigging Lures are becoming more and more popular for big lake trout and pike. On the west coast Rockfish, Ling Cod and Halibut just can't resist!

Match the colour and the size with the bait in your area and your Deadly Dick will work miracles for you!

Awesome long casting lure
These Deadly Dicks work great for all kinds of species from saltwater to freshwater. They have killed it this fall on the beaches fishing for schooled strip bass, I have countless fish on these in all different colors. The assortment of colors allows you to always have a lure that can match the bait in the water that time of year.

Catch so many damn fish with the green ones
I have caught alot of fish with these stupid lures. Particularly green and blue ones. I gave one to my father to try with northern pike.
ProsEvery fish loves them. Why you ask, I don't know, but they do. Even over other metals that look more realising, in my opinion.
ConsI keep losing them. Don't know why. Maybe back hook should be bigger. I might change mine.

great tin for albie's and bluefish...
these lures cast great...they have a nice thin profile like a lot of skinnier baits... works real well on snapper blues, and sinks fast getting down to the strike zone. ive caught albies on the green bluefish and bass on the silvers.
Proscasts a mile. sinks fast.

Brilliant Design
Mimics bay anchovies, the most populous baitfish in the Chesapeake Bay. I've used Deadly Dicks to catch blues and stripers up to 10 pounds, and once in a blue moon, if retrieved as fast as humanly possible, I've caught a few Spanish Mackerel on these as well. Awesome lure!

Sand eels & Heavy on shore wind
The 4 oz Deadly Dick is a must have lure when waves are crashing with a heavy on shore wind that you have to cast through to reach fish. It works excellent as a large sand eel imitation that can be fished in almost any fashion, very versatile lure. I have had success vertical jigging with these from a boat, jigging the bottom of heavy current areas such as the cape cod canal, to just casting and retrieving. My one and only complaint is the quality of hooks that the Deadly dick comes with, they bend easily and are only good for maybe one or two large fish before I would consider them junk.
ProsVersatility Casting into Wind

My go to!!
Well the striped bass fall run is upon us.. Everyone on the beach is throwing Ava's with green tails.. Well I was as well until I broke out my deadly dick and havent taken it off my leader in 3 weeks.. I slammed bluefish all summer with the plain silver DD.. Also managed some fluke and sundials on it as well.. So now I been throwing it at the stripers and have been having insane results.. Keep in mind I dont work for Deadly dick but today I manged 25 stripers on this lure.. I couldnt believe it.. They wouldnt hit anything else.. Guys next to me were not catching but I couldnt stop hooking up.. I did modify the lure.. I took the treble hook off and replaced it with a green teaser hook.. Works like a charm.. This lure should always be in your plug bag.. Buddy throws the green one and has great results as well.. Ohh deadly dick.. If I ever become a famous fisherman you guys should sponsor me :) Tight lines guys

Good Sandeel Lure
The DD is a great long casting metal that like many lures that are long and thin, look like a sandeel. I find this to be more successful than other metals especially during the day when there is sun out. Also I use it to 'locate' fish due to it's long casting abilities.
