The FishLab Carnada Slow Pitch Jig is specifically designed for vertical jigging over or around structure for bottom fish and pelagics. Perfected for the art of slow pitch jigging, the Carnada is best deployed on a slower lift-and-fall retrieve, allowing the jig to flutter sideways through the strike zone as they sink. The sliding action on the fall effectively mimics a wounded or dying baitfish, triggering the natural feeding instincts of predatory game fish. Offshore anglers will find these slow pitch jigs to be effective for anything from reef fish such as snapper, grouper, and jacks, all the way up to massive pelagic species like bluefin and yellowfin tuna. The 100g, 150g, and 200g options are equipped with two braid rigged assist hooks, while the 250g and 300g options feature two braid rigged assist hooks along with a Mustad Stainless Steel 7691 hook.
