At the core of each rod in the series is its sensitive and powerful rod blank, rolled on stepped mandrels to create a series of micro-tapers that many G Loomis rods feature. The rod engineers at G Loomis isolate and reinforce select areas that would fail under load, while taking out unnecessary material to shave weight and enhance action. This process delivers the best of both worlds, creating a serious fishing tool. These tapers are further fine-tuned for more perfected actions, suiting their intended technique.
