The handle is retained, allowing for a full manual fight in low gear, with other features including full variable speed control and a wireless 2-speed remote (Button (A) for half speed and button (B) for full speed). The reel is capable of retrieving 500 feet per minute at full speed with an estimated 50 lbs. of drag.
