Purpose built for the deep drop big game angler, the RJ Boyle LP Swordfish Buoy Spools provide the complete package for anglers looking to add another line to their swordfish arsenal while out on the water. The team at RJ Boyle offer two different spool assemblies to accommodate different levels of current, each having three marked increments spread along their length. High current spools, designed for anything over two knots, are marked at 1400ft, 1600ft, and 1,800ft. Low current spools, designed for anything under two knots, are marked at 1000ft, 1300ft, and 1,600ft. These marked increments have a loop rigged which allows for attachment of a buoy, acting as an adjustable management for the depth of your presentation and moving the rig away from the boat and more importantly other lines. All buoy spools are rigged with 1,650 yards of 80lb Hi-Vis braid and come rigged on Lindgren-Pitman GFN spools. The spools offer quick attachment to Lindgren-Pitman reels.
