I have two of this same model- one broke an a big smallmouth landing it and I needed to get another identical to it. Great rods but it has a very fast tip- best to use heavier weights on these rods.
ProsGood price point.
ConsTip is a bit stiff, but it is good and sensitive.

Great Rod

This is a great Rod! It is strong enough to handle any fish you are able to get on the hook and the feel allows you to even catch small Blue Gill when playing around with the family.

Highly Recommend this rod. The Cork is so soft you do not believe it is cork and the grip has an opening down to the rod shaft that allows you to feel even the lightest movement.

It is a little expensive but worth every penny. If it is in your budget - GET IT TODAY.
ProsStiff but lively Great Feel even with small fish Handle anything you can catch

It will throw long and short distances with extreme accuracy! Great for flipping and setting the hook with ease!

My favorite casting rod!

I thought this MH 7’8†rod may be a little too much for smaller freshwater fish, but proved to me just fine. Its sensitive enough to feel smaller bites and strong enough to handle heavier rig.

Love the easy crankin action and knowing that this can probably handle snakeheads to hopefully muskies (haven’t caught one on this Yet!). Only one way to find out, but so far, I love the fact that I can cast farther with less effort as well.

Aesthetics are very nice. Perfect match for Curado reel obviously and handle is long enogh to tuck under you arm while keeping the weight down. Can’t ask for more from a good price quality rod!!
ProsDurable, light, long handle, and beautiful with Curado reel.
ConsUnable to use it as often as I would like to.
