I have been using the rod in the Northeast for schoolie bass and squid, but can't wait to try it on larger bass and bonito. It has a very sensitive tip and casting is phenomenal

The 7' 6" or 8' are great paired with a 4k or 5k reel. Light rod, light reel, you can cast forever and may never come home. Strong rod with great guides.
ProsGuides, blank, light, cork, all of it
ConsPricey!

Fished this rod on a inshore charter. Loved it. Caught specs and stripers on it. Love the light action to the rod. It allows you to feel everything.

The 7‚€™6‚€ MH is a versatile inshore rod that allows me to toss a variety of plugs and soft plastics in almost any situation. I have it paired with a 5000 size Daiwa reel.

Spinning spectacular

VIS80F, this is a heavy duty spinning rod but light. I have it mated with a Shimano sustain 10,000. Sure enough, it‚€™s able to reel in 60lb blue fin. It‚€™s perfect for 20-40lb species. As it is a stiff rod, retrieving lures is not so great, but more ideal to live bait.

Extremely light. The VIS76MF pairs nicely with the stradic 2500 Ci4. Such a light combo that it floats. Very sensitive. Works great for trout and reds.

I have 2 of these rods and I use them for Blackfish, Seabass, Fluke and Striped Bass. Great back bone and super sensitive! I paired them up with the Van Staal VR50 to make perfect inshore combo for NJ fishing.

I LOVE THIS ROD

75% of my rods are St. Croix rods. I've always been a fan of their Tidemaster Series, but the new Avid Inshore Series tops them.

I now own several of them, and they perform flawlessly.

They're also about the prettiest rod that you'll ever run across.

Which Shimano Twin Power XD would the 7‚€™6‚€ MH rod pair best with? 3000, 4000, or 5000? I‚€™m targeting stripers and albies along with a variety of other in shore species.

The 5000 would pair up best with the 7'6 medium heavy
