can you use a spinning reel with 15' emcast rod?
No. The guides are wrapped on the opposite side of the rod. When you load the rod to cast or are fighting a fish, the rod would bend against its spine and would break.

Hi, am new to fishing. Can you please tell me whats the different between Spinning and Casting rod? Spinning have longer handle? Casting have shorter handle?
They are different based on the reel that you will be using. You would match up a spinning reel with a spinning rod.
