When I fish a back bay or calm waters, the Slug-Go is the most productive!
A must have

These are deadly with a 1/2 ounce swim bait hook. They have great action and cast pretty far!

I hate to touch the real eel, so I choose slug go, it equally versatile lure than real eel.. I use nail weight so, it can cast well. 1/16 nail weight works for me
Proshandling better than live eel

This is my go to choice when i am fishing for snook. I have caught anywhere from 20in to 40in snook on these. Every penny spent on these is worth it.
Great action, a versatile profile for fresh or saltwater

Love the 9" version for stripers. Lunker City also make a 12" version which tackle direct should carry. I've caught many stripers on these especially the all black in July and August. Pair these up with the screw-lock type hooks if you don't use them with a jig head.
ProsI've found them to be very helpful when scoping out a new spot. They are less expensive to lose than a bucktail or needlefish. Buy them in bulk to save.
ConsBluefish love them too, they will not hold up to their teeth, no surprise there.
Always carry them with me.
