I bought my dad a few of these for Christmas last year and he loves them. We use them as trolling reels for stripers off of Cape Cod, but also for tuna. We have 3 of the mid size ones and 1 bigger one which we use for our bird teaser when trolling for tuna. The reels are great for anything from small bottom fish to large tuna, they are built to last and I was just handed down 2 penn pier reels from 40-50 years ago that still work amazingly. Penn is built to last.

Good Reel, Good Price
I bought three of these reels about a year ago. I use it for shark fishing, it is AMAZING. When I'm pulling in a 100lb bull shark it works just like a winch. Gets it in faster so a higher percentage of staying alive.
ConsDrag is hard to move.
