Amazing Quality

The 15-30lb spinning is just amazing. I have 2 cod and a pollock on and this rod just smashed them. It is worth every dollar you put in. Blue Water Carnage is an overall solid rod!

I was looking for a couple of rods to fill in some holes I had in my arsenal. Purchased the 700M and the 800M models and have been more than impressed. The Rods have great backbone and are very well built. I am currently looking for some more rods and I will definitely be buying some more Penn Bluewater Carnage Rods. Good to see Penn making some great products again!!

I have the spinning model 20-50 lbs and paired it with penn spinfisher v live liner. I use it on the surf, pier, aqueduct for striped bass, casting for cudas, yellowtail and white sea bass, bottom fishing, jetty fishing... it does everything well! jack of all trades master of none fishing rod! sensitive enough for perch and strong enough for yellowtail and lingcods! triangular foregrip is a big help. love those hardloy inserts (using braid).

On this rod and many other rods what type of fishing is the d handle shape for
The "D" handle doesn't have a reel seat. It is mainly used with convention reels and allows you to place the reel in a comfortable position. You will need a reel clamp to hold the reel in place.
