Great Rod
March 12, 2015
I use this rod with a shimano sustain 5000 reel. A great combo for spin fishing for stripers, blues and albies. The rod has enough backbone to handle larger fish (40 lbs) but is sensitive enough to cast smaller lures for albies. An excellent rod.

7'6 Medium Light Fast Action
February 25, 2014
I use this rod as a light tackle surf fishing rod, casting carolina rigs, swim baits, and spoons. Man is this rod is light! I can cast for more than 6 hours straight and my arm is still not tired. It is long enough to give me good distance while still being very accurate. I paired it up with a Shimano Stradic3000 and it is only slightly tip heavy at the handle; it seems to balance right at the hook keeper, so a heavier reel would be perfect but the 3000 is still great. The tip is fast and it has a lot of sensitivity especially with braid. The quality of the craftsmanship is top notch and the guides are super smooth. All in all this is a fantastic rod for and intermediate fisherman or a beginner wanting something above average.
ProsLightweight Sensitive Smooth, soft cork handle Excellent Craftsmanship Lifetime warranty
ConsSlightly tip heavy
