The Quantum BSP40PTs reel features TiMag salt bail system. The reel is also equipped with oversized corrosion proof nickel-titanium bail wire with one piece Quantum performance tuned reel frames. This reel is lightweight yet strong. Frame will not flex even against the heaviest of cranking with CNC machined design to fit bearings, shafts, and gears precisely. With a more reliable bail trip mechanism that is made with epoxy coated magnets that will not corrode or wear out, this reel will spend more time in your boat and less at the repair shop.

Spinal Rods Series 2 Jigging Rods utilize a faster taper blank that allows for more backbone to the butt section and a lighter tip to move a smaller jig with great action. These rods maintain a close bend to the angler's body without losing stiffness at the grip section, keeping that strong power feel. The 2 extra inches in length that the series 2 has opposed to the series 1 allows for more tip movement to keep the same action in the jig. These tapers have become more popular in the north east coast since the tuna are growing and reels are improving higher drag settings.
