Great Reel for the Price
I fish offshore in South Florida and use these reels for live bait bump trolling and kite fishing. The drag is smooth and the sailfish cam is a nice upgrade when trying to keep just a little bit of drag on live bait, however, the downside of the sailfish cam seems to be an extremely steep drag profile once you push it past strike. I set my strike drag at around 4lbs and when I push the drag just past strike it jumps to 9lbs+. However, for most of the fishing I do this isn't an issue. Overall reel looks great, is extremely light and has a nice smooth drag.
ProsSmooth Drag, lightweight, plenty of line capacity.
ConsSteep drag profile after strike, drag adjustment knob isn't "infinitely" adjustment, you can feel it need to click in to the next setting which means you can't always get exactly the drag weight you're looking for, this is more problematic when trying to fish light drags.
