Great Bay Fluking Rod
March 30, 2018
Loved the feel as soon as i picked it up. I have the XH one rated 1/2-3 and its my go to Bay fluking rod. Enough power in case you have to bucktail up to 4 oz or get into some blue fish. Tip is nice and sensitive. Love the finish as well on the rod, just looks sexy!

HI I go fishing during the summer for fluke on a party boat. I really like the Proteus rod. I would like to know which line weight; either 8-17lb or 10-20lb; would be better? Currently I am using G Loomis rod 10-17lb. Which one is most similar to this rod?
1 Answer
I would recommend using the 10-20lb class rod to match the g loomis best.
