Storing energy in a Lithium Ion battery is one thing. Starting an engine and charging from an alternator is quite another. Engine start is Lithium Pros strength and we start some of the fastest vehicles on Earth. How? It features one of the most advanced internal battery management systems in the marine industry today. This fully integrated digital battery management system ensures long life and trouble free service all safely sealed inside a lightweight box. This battery features 1,200 Marine Crank Amps (Eq) and will have no trouble starting most conventional outboard engines on the market today. It can safely be used with most outboard charging systems including Evinrude, all Mercury including the new Fourstroke, Suzuki, and all Yamaha.

Having trouble with graphs resetting during an engine crank? The high power Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry used in this battery holds a higher voltage as it is discharged. That effectively eliminates this "reset" issue. Don't try to find a place in your boat for TWO 12V batteries! Buy a Lithium Pros!

The M3180-S has a 184 minutes of reserve capacity. This makes it the battery of choice for boats with up to three 12" graphs running simultaneously.

Charging is simple because your existing 12V AGM or Gel battery compatible charger will work fine.* Recharge times vary based on the size of the charger, outboard run time, and charging system but most anglers tell us they are "green light" on the charger before they go sleep! That's peace of mind.

In spite of all the power contained in this battery, it still ultra lightweight at an amazing 26 pounds!

NOTE: Not for use in series to make higher voltage packs. 12V systems ONLY.

*Ensure the charger's float voltage is 13.5V or less. Do not "de-sulfate" any lithium ion battery.
