Nicholas Dellaporta

Nicholas DellaPorta is a high school junior from New Jersey, a National Honors Society student, and an active member of his school's Environmental Club. In addition, he is a guide/counselor for the Candlewood Fishing Camp. Not only is his education important, Nicholas is an avid high school angler that fishes for the NJ B.A.S.S Nation, where he is the 2019, 2020, and 2022 state champion, as well as a three time national qualifier and the 2022 Bassmaster All-State qualifier. He also fishes the MLF High School series, in which he is a two-time national qualifier and a back-to-back Big Bass Zone State Champion for New Jersey, Connecticut, and Vermont.

Along with his accomplishments as a young angler, Nicholas has been recognized by leading companies in the fishing industry. These include TackleDirect, Shimano, G. Loomis, Jackall, Power Pro, Beast Coast Fishing, Sublime Wear USA, and Keitech, where he represents them as a pro-staff angler. In the near future, Nicholas will be attending college majoring in business and fishing at the collegiate level. Once he graduates, his goal is to fish at an elite level and to work within the fishing industry.
