Nice rod, bit lighter than expected
Very nice looking rod, great finish. Nice reel seat. The 3pc is an awesome feature, and with these ferrule connections, it feels close enough to a one-piece. Definitely not worse than a 2pc. So, great for travelling. The rod M-MH is a bit lighter than I was expecting. Visually, there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between the 2 tips. Although, there is only a few pounds difference, I was hoping/expecting a bigger difference.
Prosnice finish nice reel seat components 3 pc great good connections sensitive enough tip for lure action
Consnot much difference between 2 tips lighter than expected

Is this rod a good fit for bridge fishing in the Florida keys? Is the tip strong enough to reel up a moderate size fish ? Maximum lure weight? Any travel spinning rods better suited for bridge fishing?
For the fishing you are looking to do with the rod I would recommend updating to the Okuma NT-S-703M-MH Nomad Travel Spinning Rod it will handle pulling fish up better and it will handle a heavier ounce weight, around 4 or 5 ounces.

Is the Penn Spinfisher V 5500/6500 too big for this spinning rod?
The 5500 would be on the bigger end of reels that should be on this rod. The 4500SSV would be the better fit for this rod. If you do need a rod for the 6500ssv check out the Nomad Express travel Please feel free to contact one of our product specialists if you have any further questions. What is the lure casting weight on this rod? Do they make a 4-piece 9ft..?what would be shipping to Connecticut-U.S.A..?
We would recommend a natural color to imitate an actual native rat, and alos recommend a stand out color to generate strikes like the White or the Morning Dawn.

I want to pair this with a Penn Battle2 spinning reel. What size would match best? I was thinking 4000 for the inshore M-MH, and the 5000 for the Boat rod L-ML? Thx!
Switch those around and you should be fine. The 4000 for the light to medium light and the 5000 for medium to medium heavy.
