It's only fitting to wrap up Season 17 of Saltwater Experience with a trip to the famed Florida Everglades. Captains Tom Rowland and Rich Tudor are left to their own devices in this two-person "explore day." Piloting a new bay boat on a windy day, they decide to start off looking for tarpon and hopefully find some snook well. Using every tool at their disposal, they're ready for whatever the Glades has to offer.

The first they do is fill up the wells of the boat with live baitfish. Then it's off to "hide behind the mangroves." There, they demonstrate techniques such as throwing live baitfish into the bushes to draw out snapper — the action of which in turn brings the snook calling.
