Shimano Curado 70 Baitcasting Reels are made with a Hagane body. They are the perfect reels for pitching, flipping, and casting light lures with new smaller compact size. The hagane body allows for all day in-hand comfort. These reels also feature Shimano's X-Ship technology which provides smoothness and durability. These reels feature Shimano Stable Spool Design (S3D) that reduces vibrations, and increases casting performance. Anglers have expected great things from the Shimano Curado reels for decades. These reels are ideal and the go-to casting reels for bass, walleye, redfish, and trout species.

What can I say about this reel? It handles 1/8 jigs with ease and resists backlash as good as the Tatula SV. Try it out!

Is the brake dial always hard to turn or am I doing something wrong ?

There should be some resistance but shouldn't require force to turn the dial

It can handle satlwater it would pair up best with the rod in this link https://www.tackledirect.com/g-loomis-gwr901c-greenwater-series-saltwater-casting-rod.html

Can you give me a few suggestions rod wise for inshore fishing with this reel
1 Answer
St. Croix, Shimano, and G-Loomis are some of the top rod manufacturers that we like to recommend. Some models we suggest looking into are the Teramar, the Green Water, or the mojo inshore. The newest model of the 13 Fishing Omen Green would also be a great fit.
