For the second straight episode, Captain Brandon Simmons joins the Saltwater Experience crew. Following their flurry of success in Season 17, Episode 8: Offshore Permit with Captain Brandon, the gang has much more in mind on this day. And when Brandon is involved, you never know what the day could bring. This Florida Space Coast native has fished everywhere from the Florida Keys to the Mosquito Lagoon for tarpon, snook, queen snappers, mahi-mahi and many other sportfish.

As a professional charter boat guide for Hawks Cay Resort, Brandon's goal is to help others fish just like they do on the Saltwater Experience show. In this case, he and fellow captains Tom Rowland and Rich Tudor had already caught a flurry of permit by 10:00 a.m. With nearly a full day still ahead, they decide to go check a few other offshore shipwrecks. There, they find amberjacks and mutton while using both drop-down and vertical jig methods. Brandon also shows his skill in making the jig work when all seems lost.
