The Accurate Boss Valiant Reels are baitcasting reels that come in both single speed and 2-speed models. They are designed for inshore and light action offshore applications. These reels are made with innovative design that minimizes size and weight while maximizing strength, longevity and fish fighting power. These reels were built with shallow water jigging in mind, but they can also be used for live-bait coastal fishing, snapper fishing around reefs, jigging for silver salmon, or targeting school-sized tuna, yellowtail and dorado. The unique curvature of the BV-300s rugged body gives this compact, extremely lightweight reel the structural integrity of models twice its size. Basing the BV-300s design on the original premise of the Roman Arches or Domes used in early architecture, Accurate has been able to create a significantly stronger reel using less material. While the BV-300s walls are thinner, its non-flexing frame and side plate enable it to withstand more stress than similarly sized reels. Accurate has also managed to fit the drive train of a bigger reel perfectly into the BV-300s small profile. These Boss Valiant Reels also incorporate a new Accurate feature an easy-find Cam Stop at strike. Instead of having buttons at free spool and strike, these reels have a secure indent in the Drag Cam that stops the drag lever before going into full. This useful feature offers a fail-safe during the heat of battle, preventing the angler from going too far into full drag.

Features:
  • 6061 T6 Aircraft Aluminum
  • Anodized for increased corrosion resistance
  • Smooth, Easy Find Cam Stop Strike
  • Sleeved spool for greater Free spool
  • 2 ARB bearings with seal washers for improved corrosion resistance
  • Lever Drag Recessed Ergonomic Thumb Plate
  • Precision-Cut Stainless Steel Gears

Good quality reel
I have Jigging Master reels, Shimano reels, Okuma, Penn reels, Daiwa reels. It's not the best, but it's better compare to most reels have used.
ProsLight, robust
ConsNot the smoothest compare to all reels I have used.

Not used yet
I have not used this reel yet but, it seems to be a quality reel. Light weight, large handle for a small reel which I like, duel drag. If it performs as advertised I will then give 5 stars. I plan to use for blackfish.

Great reel
Such a small reel that has the power to conquer anything the sound has to throw at it. Also it feels like you do not even have a reel on the rod.
ProsLight weight. Powerful

Accurate BV-300 Boss Valieant Baitcasting Reel Review
I used the BV-300 2 weeks ago on a black fishing trip, matched with a Jigging World 7 foot Black Demon MH fishing rod. The reel is nice and light at 9.9 oz. I loaded the reel with 150 yards of power-pro 50 lb line and backed with mono. In free spool the shaft spins nicely. Adjusting drag pressure is simple, just turn the drag knob clockwise to increase drag or counterclockwise to decrease drag. The fit and finish on the reel is what you would come to expect from accurate, first rate. The Red and silver color stands out, everyone on the boat that day wanted to take a look and feel the reel. The only drawback for some was the price, but you get what you pay for. The natural ergonomics of the reel was comfortable to fish with all day. It was cold out ( about 28 degrees) so I had on thin gloves and the reel was quite comfortable. Heaviest black fish on the rod was about 6 lbs. this was not a challenge for the reel. Overrall I rate the reel 4.5 stars out of 5. There is no clicker on this reel I am assuming to keep the weight down. So I decreased to 4.5 stars from 5.
ProsLightweight and strong.
ConsNarrow to keep the weight down, but would love to load more line on the reel. No clicker.

WOW this thing is small
Was surprised how small it was until I put it on a Rod. You can't even tell its on there. This reel is my go to reel for Blackfin and Tarpon. Handles big snapper with ease.
ProsLightweight, compact, looks great.
ConsYour friends who show up with 30Ws will make fun of you until they see what it can handle.

The Shimano Trevala 6'6'' M or MH or the 6'6'' 1-6 oz lure weight would be a good options to pair the Accurate 300BV.
