The Gulp Alive 3" shrimp is my "go to" bait so when I saw this picture of the large bucket of Gulp for $19.99, I ordered 4. The containers they sent me are the short, squat size. If they had shown the correct picture, I would not have ordered them because the price is no better than I can find locally AND I wouldn't have to pay $9.99 shipping. Rip off.
Merchant Response:That is the older style bucket, the new bucket has the same amount of gulp, just different shape. We will update the photo.
ProsThe baits are great!

Love the bait

Tis is an awesome deal. The baits are an all around great bait especially for reds and trout. The larger container holds more bait and provides more of the liquid which can be used to put all kinds of lures into.

These gulps produce a lot of specks, reds, and snooks. They sure are smelly but the surprise on the end of your line is worth it!

Great for fluke
February 1, 2017
3" gulp shrimp in white or new penny are great for fluke on a 1/4 to 5/8 oz jig. They are at least as effective as the swimming mullet and are much more durable. The durability is especially important to me late in the season whe the back bays are full of small sea bass and sea robins.
ProsCatch as good or better than cut bait. Durable.

Great Bait
May 27, 2016
These guys are awesome I took them to mosquito lagoon, and both the trout and reds tore em up. They're great because they hold all of that stinky juice inside them so when they're in the water for awhile, as long as they're still fat they still smell.
ProsGreat bait fish love em
Consdon't leave on your jighead too long in the sun or you aren't getting that sucker off for a few hours. Soak it back in that juice until its fat again and it'll slide right off

Redfish like'em
August 4, 2015
Hard to argue with something that works. I've used these on a couple occasions fishing for reds and they get bit. Versatile bait that can be fished multiple ways on multiple rigs. They last and so far have been pretty durable for a soft bait. The ability to drop them back into the "juice" to refresh the scent/flavor is nice to have; plus I throw some other plastics in the tub to soak up some scent as well. I think this product is a solid value for the price and the fact that they are biodegradeable makes me feel better about tossing them in the water.
Pros-durability -fair price -versatile -"rechargeable"

Would these be good for Alaska Salmon Fishing?
1 Answer
If they are eating shrimp or another bait that closely resembles the profile of a shrimp, this would be a great option.

What is the quantity of baits in each size and weight? thanks
1 Answer
Hello Alon. There unfortunately, without emptying each individual container, is no way to tell how many come in each bucket. Each bucket will vary due to the size and shape of each individual bait.

how longe will a unopen bucket last unopen?what is the shelf life?
1 Answer
There is no "expiration date" that we are aware of. I personally have some that were opened 3 years ago and they are fine. Unopened, I would have no idea.
