Billfishing in Tobago

a view from the back of a boat of a billfish jumping out of the water

Fishing for the first time in foreign lands is always the most exciting for me. It's even more special when you have to step outside what you're used to in order to get bites. It makes you think outside the box, makes you meet a lot of awesome people, and you always seem to learn the most on these type of fishing trips. This is what Tobago was all about. Living on the boat at anchor in a beautiful bay for 12 days in Tobago, billfishing everyday, and learning all we could possibly learn from the locals about the local waters every chance we had is what made the trip a success. It's a unique and special place I hope to go back to in the future.
