Brinefly Pulse Discs are a transparent piece of plastic placed in front of your fly that make the fly look like it’s swimming. Excellent at night and in staying water, the pulse disc causes the fly to undulate back and forth as a real life bait fish would. The Pulse Disc works so well because it causes the same hydro-acoustical signature put out by the bait fish. You can actually feel the pulsation in your hand, resulting in the name Pulse Disc.
Larger sized pulse discs provide increased oscillation and work great with soft plastics. Note: If the disc is too large, the disc will lock up and skate the fly sideways.
