Bought this during the summer of COVID when it was hard to find any replacement rods/reels. Length makes it a challenge to fish out of a kayak or store in a vertical rod holder, but it is not the manufacturer's fault I bought an 8'6" rod. Reel was better quality than I was expecting. Have since made this my slip-bobber combo. The extra length really helps taking up the slack line.

I have this combo and is my first choice for any camping near the water.

Any reel from Daiwa described as an LT will come with a lightweight reel while packing the ability to take abuse. This is a pretty tough Revros reel!
