One of the best Red Drum surf rods!
Have now built four(4) of these rods and they are one of the best blanks for east coast red drum surf/pier fishing. Very light and easy to throw. The red paint scheme looks awesome as well. Not a fan of the three-piece design(personal preference) but Daiwa did this one up right, and they are great rods.
ProsLight, easy to load, easy to cast.

Does this rod come with the case or is it an additional cost . Does this rod have a stainless steel butt. I'm living overseas will i still be eligible for the lifetime warranty on this rod

This reel does come with the case and does not have a stainless steel butt. The rod would have to come back to the US to be considered under the lifetime warranty.
