Drone Baits, designed and tested in the early 1900's, are the original saltwater spoons. Due to their impressive fishing record, Drone Baits are one of the most copied lures in existence. But in spite of this copying, there is no other lure with quite the erratic, strike-bringing action of the Drone.

High Quality and fast shipping
For my application, these spoons are the best. I see higher numbers of strikes when using these vs standard colored jigs made by other manufacturers. I'll stick with these

Great for wahoo
I love these for wahoo. Under the right circumstance this is all I need and I don't need all the heavy tackle and big lures.

Flat out catches fish!
Anytime there's wahoo on the target list this bait is in the spread. I run it behind a planer and more often then not, it's the one catching the fish. On my list as one of the top wahoo baits of all time. There's a reason it's been around forever.
ProsIt works!

Best Spoon Made
The quality of the Drone Spoon is unmatched. No problems with the hooks breaking off and the hooks can be replaced. I keep one of these on a rod at all times when I am in the bay or nearshore. Fish love them. I use the spoon with pink or yellow color flash to enhance the natural attraction of the spoon with excellent results for redfish, trout, spanish mackerel and an occasional crevalle jack.
ProsQuality in materials Color selection Replaceable hooks

Good Spoon
Tossed it a few times. Really like the way it swims. Haven't caught fish on it yet, but I'm sure it will do the job fine. Well made and strong.

good spoon
I haven't caught anything on it yet, but it chunks far and has a great movement in the water. Seems very solid build too and good hook. Only fished it one day, so time will tell but I'm sure it catches fish.

Great For Summer Trolling
These are my go to lures for summer trolling in the bad when the blue fish are active. I pull various colors and sizes and all have produced well so far. Much better than losing plastic lures to the blues.

TRICKING TRIGGERFISH
Mon, 23 Jul 2018
In the past decade, Jersey's wrecks and reefs have begun to colonize with summer visitors in the form of gray triggerfish. Previously known as a relative bycatch on the structure piles, triggers are now carpeting inshore wrecks and reefs, sometimes by the hundreds.... Read More
