The XCS achieves an even lighter overall weight at 6.4 ounces thanks to the use of duralumin components, including a lightweight and extremely strong hard anodized duralumin worm shaft. The ergonomic and rugged aluminum frame is dipped in a special alloy coating giving it a lifetime corrosion-free finish. These reels are perfectly capable of handling saltwater exposure, making them a great option if you're looking for an inshore baitcaster. The Soleus XCS is outfitted with two high-speed spool bearings, which provide you with longer and smoother casts. The spool is controlled by a fine-tuned internal centrifugal braking system that will help you make the perfect cast with a wide range of lures.
