Worth Every Penny

Purchased this cart from Tackle Direct after an Amazon order for a cheaper brand got cancelled on short notice before a recent trip.

I'm glad I ended up with this one. Lightweight aluminum, nice rubber (air) tires roll very well on hard surfaces.

Fish N Mate 143 Cart
November 18, 2020
It’s a very nice cart that has multiple uses for me. I can use it at home in the yard and or to cart my gear to a local fishing spots using the firmer wheels that came with the cart. I also purchased a set of Wheeleez low pressure wheels for use on sandy beaches. The two kinds of wheels make the cart dual purpose. Changing the wheels for different uses and or ground surfaces is a snap.
  • Assembly was easy. The cart is light in weight so it?s easy to pickup and move in and out of vehicles etc. The wheels and accessories attach and detach with minimal effort. This cart was well designed and Fish N Mate has an assortment of accessories available as well.
  • None come to mind.

Great investment, simple and convenient.

I’m able to get everything needed for three people on this cart. I got a plano 3700 guide series tackle box and a 52qt igloo cooler and the fit is perfect. One trip from the truck, and changing locations is easy too. This is lite and the best piece of equipment I have for pier fishing.
  • Easy and convenient.
  • I did not get this sooner.

Bought this for my wife - She will never get it from me!
June 1, 2013
My wife and a few of her friends have discovered crabbing in the local salt marshes and they have been making a day of it now and then. She came home a few weeks ago and said the only problem was having to drag all the stuff around the beach.
I saw this and thought it would be just the ticket for her. As I was putting together I began to see the possibilities of surf fishing, pier fishing etc.
Took it out the following weekend, too bad sweetie, it's mine, mine, mine!
  • It almost looks decadent, setting next to it with the umbrella in a pole holder, drinking a beer and waiting for the fish.
  • Assembly instructions could be better but I figured it out.

The cart is perfect. I customized using a couple pole holders. Customer service is fast and easy to work with.
  • I like the larger wheels and the support gusset on the handle. The front stand keeps the cart from rolling.
  • I would have like a plate under the axle to absorb the pressure on the frame.
