Just what I needed!
January 14, 2020
Bought this backpack because I was caught six hours in a torrential downpour while watching a spartan race. My old backpack completely soaked through. After doing some research I bought this backpack and have not been disappointed. Exactly as described and it absolutely keeps everything dry! Wish I had this last year!!

Great Product!!!!

I ordered this backpack a few years ago and have used it on every single fishing trip I’ve been on since then and it has held up to every test. It is still perfectly waterproof, the mesh has not deteriorated and the clips have held up strong. The best feature is no exterior zippers to corrode or break due to extended use. Literally the perfect fishing backpack

Absolutely 100% waterproof

I was tired of my fishing gear and tackle getting soaking wet if we get caught in the rain. That means going home to unpack every single lure, pliers, spare lines, etc to spread all over the house to get dry. This backpack came as the solutions to this problem. What I did is to fit my tackle bag inside the backpack to transport it to the boat or to a location if I am walking. Once there I pull out my tackle bag and fish as normal. If rain happens (already did) I just pack my gear and put my tackle bag inside the waterproof backpack. It may sound complicate it but it is not. I already tested this system and works smoothly. In addition if walking having my gear inside a backpack makes it easy to carry. The backpack is well built and so far has kept my gear dry.
ProsWell made The 30L has plenty of space to various gear 100% waterproof

Excellent Wet Bag Back Pack** Not Just For Fishing!!
July 15, 2016
Great fit. Just the right size. Will hold gear, deck boots, bibs, water bottles.
Nicely padded. Good solid stitching.
I think it's the best waterproof, wet bag backpack in its price range by far.
Good looking bag.
My buddy who is a bike delivery guy in Manhattan saw it while we were fishing and had to have one to serve dual purpose for deliveries. The Shoulder and waist straps are easily adjustable for the perfect fit.
ProsQuality construction Nicely Padded Adjustable shoulder and waist straps Plenty of Space for a day or weekend trip

Great concept - poor quality
May 14, 2016
This bag is a great concept and I have loved the form-fit and functionality. However, after 16 months, the bag has given up; one backpack strap has torn from its attachment at the waist, one roll-up clip broke, and the front mesh panel has started dislodging from the main compartment. I honestly expected better durability from a Grunden's bag and now wonder about their replacement policy. I have used it to carry an ultrabook, notepad and lunch to work on the bike and for light hiking and traveling with a shift of clothes, so no heavy weight that would justify the failures. Moreover, I take good care of my stuff.

Took it on drift fly fishing trip
November 26, 2014
This is a great dry bag. I took it on a drift fly trip. It was raining all day, and the bag kept everything bone dry. The backpack stars and top handle make it easy to carry.

Shoulder strap ripped out after 2 weeks
November 8, 2014
I bought this bag to use while traveling in Peru as I'm a fan of the Grundens brand and this was the best deal available for waterproof bags. While it is a tough bag and keeps my stuff dry, the right shoulder strap ripped out of the bottom of the bag after only 2 weeks of use. I was trekking in the Andes when this happened and luckily was able to tie it off to the waist belt. The bag could use a better anchoring system for the straps as the PVC material ripped too easily for how much I used it.

Merchant Response:Please let us know if you need help with the warranty.
ProsWaterproof and tough
ConsThe right shoulder strap ripped out after two weeks of use.

If stuffed to the brim it will be too large. I have partially filled it and used it as a carry on in the past.
