Hooker Electric Penn 70VIS Detachable Motor Electric Reels combine the strength and reliability of the Penn International 70VIS with Hooker Electric's powerful 2HP 12/24VDC brushless motor to widen your opportunities to the depths of the sea. This supercharged 70VIS reel shares all the same great features as the Hooker Electric Penn 80 and 130 reels, but features a more compact design and includes a fully detachable Hooker Electric Drive Unit to allow you to fight your fish manually. This configuration is perfect for those who wish to use their 70VIS as a "dual purpose" reel for both deep dropping and traditional trolling. Whether you are deep-dropping for bottom dwellers, trolling, pulling dredges, or battling daytime swordfish, the Hooker Electric 70VIS is up to the challenge. The motor pulls line up to 500 ft per minute at full speed. The speed-control knob gives you full control of the speed, and the 100 ft-range 2-button remote control offers hands-free operation (Button A for half speed and button B for full speed).
