Preventing line twist is essential as jigs will dive, spin, and act erratically, both as they are retrieved and as they fall, weakening both your mainline and leader overtime. This swivels design features a stainless ball bearing swivel with welded rings on either side, along with a welded solid ring and split ring attached to the swivel. This method allows you to attach your mainline to the solid ring of the ball bearing swivel, your favorite assist/stinger hook to be attached to the solid ring connected to the swivel, and your lure connected to the split ring. Keeping both your mainline and your assist/stinger hooks attached to solid rings mitigates any sort of abrasion that come from split rings and other pieces of terminal tackle, while also giving you one of the most solid connections of line to terminal tackle you can have. The attached split ring allows anglers to quickly detach lures both for travel and changing out jigs, keeping you ready for the next bite.
