The Surface Tension Lure is a top water lure which is constructed of a high impact plastic and stuffed with stainless steel thru-wire construction. The overall design of this lure gives the angler extreme distance on every cast even with a strong wind in your face. Single middle gusset design enables this plug to be fished on the surface with a slow retrieve with added rod tip action or fast for a more steady moving bait and added spiting and darting action. The florescent colors make it easy for you and the fish to find in any conditions. The new Surface Tension Lure has proven itself many times as a reliable lure for Striped Bass, Bluefish, and yes Tuna.

Best plug ever
This plugg is the bomb for surf fishing. You will with ease cast it past the first and second breaker on most beaches. Great erratic movement when the water is a little choppy. Catch anything that will take a surface lure.
Pros- Casts great ! - Very nice movements - works for a wide variaty of species!
ConsLoses soem of it's good movements when te water is flat calm.

This plug casts a mile and can hold up and still catch after a hundred bluefish bites into the hard plastic. A great lure I would highly recommend

This lure looks great out of the box. The side flash really stands out and attracts fish. I switched out the manufacturer hook and put on something a little bigger/saltwater ready.

The Perfect Surface Tension Lure
I've fished the ST3 under a variety of conditions in the surf, from a boat offshore, and in inlets. It casts extremely well, and it is effective in flat and windy conditions. I've used the ST3 in New England, Florida, and Texas and had great results with it. Species that I've caught with the ST3 include small school Bluefin tuna, dorado, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, jack crevalle. big eye jacks, barracuda, striped bass, bonito, skipjack tuna, and wahoo. In addition to high speed retrieves, this lure can also be worked slowly and very effectively like a pencil popper or spook in smooth water, on the backs of swells or waves, and in troughs. My experience with the ST3 is that it is an extremely effective lure for schools or pods of fish feeding on baitfish at or near the surface. The ST3 is also often productive from the surf in the daytime. Every serious saltwater angler should own this lure and the larger ST4.

A Must-Have Lure
I've used this lure very successfully in New England, Florida, and Texas. It is a great prospecting lure, and it casts nearly as well as a metal lure like a Kastmaster. I've used the Line Stretcher ST2 in the surf, inshore, and from boats to catch bluefish, stripers, large jack crevalle, Spanish mackerel, barracuda, bpnito, and false albacore. The single hook helps in quick releases.

MY Favorite Lure
This lure is by far one of my favorite. It works for everything, stripers, blues, tuna, mahi and even triggerfish. The lure casts the farthest out of any lure I have ever used and its incredible durable. The hook is quality too. Strong enough for 40 lb albacore tuna. Teeth marks barely show on the lure. BEST TOPWATER LURE EVER. Fish dont always hook up the first strike because of the single hook, but they just keep attacking it until they get it.
ProsDurable casts a mile strong

Best color and size blue fish in back bays and surf
1 Answers
The smaller 2 sizes would most likely be the most effective in the back bays, the larger of the 2 in the surf. As far as color goes, bluefish are not picky. Personally I would go with the white or pink.
