These boots are lightweight deck footwear. Lighter than PVC made boots these are made with closed cell DuPont EVA foam. Being made with EVA material these boots are insulated and are able to provide more warmth than other rubber boots. These boots are able to allow for a longer less tiring day on your feet. With orthotic foot pad support, ankle bars, and 4 instep-guard bars, these boots are able to provide the most support and comfort you could ever want in a deck boot. These boots are perfect for the deck with non marking and non skid soles. These Marlin Deck Boots are a must have for any long time angler or boater. They are by far the most comfortable deck boots out there.

Really like these boots as they are super light made of EVA like crocks. I rolled the tops down for the summer to make them cooler. Soft soles which I like but may not provide lots of protection from sharp objects.
Pros
  • Light
  • Soft soles
  • Comfortable
  • Can roll down the tops
Cons
  • Soft soles not a lot of protection

Lightweight deck boots at a bargain
November 16, 2017
These boots are great for those who are looking for light weight deckboots. They are made well and don’t mark the deck as the soles are white. If you plan on wearing these during cold weather get a size higher so you can layer up with socks.
Pros
  • Lightweight and durable
Cons
  • Could use a slightly stiffer sole.

I understand that you do not make these boots in women's sizes but I need to purchase a pair. So as a woman's size 7 1/2, what size would I purchase?
1 Answer
Laura,

You would need to order the size 8 for the Marlin Deck boots.  You might also look at the RDI Mid Calf Boot size 6 (RDI-0002-3) or Xtratuf  Womens Ankle Deck boots (XTR-0175-3) if you haven't already.  Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

Interested in the boots, one post states the owner had to order the boots two sizes larger. Has anyone had this experience or can anyone attest to how they run? True to size or something else? thanks
1 Answer
We have found that the boots do run true to size. So we recommend placing an order for the boot size you would normally fit in any other boot. If you do place an order for them you can return them in exchange for a size that fits.
