This rod has exceeded my expectations of a inexpensive slow pitch jigging rod. It preforms just as good as other more expensive models. The only down side is the length, I wish this came in a 7 or7.5 ft length as well.

What rod would be good for wreck fishing for sea bass and fishing for flounder off the coast of Delaware?
1 Answer
Tom,

Actually any of the OTI Pitch Black Slow Pitch rods will work nicely for offshore seabass and fluke fishing.  Whether spinning or conventional they all have excellent feel for that type of fishing.  Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

Would the 400g spinning rod be under powered to jig for yellowfin with?
1 Answer
Danny,

The OTI Pitch Black rod OTI-PB63400S would be fine for school sized YFT (30-50lb).  For larger fish you might be a little under gunned,  but a customer did catch a 110lb tuna on it.  Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
