Otter Lure and Tackle Tail baits are made in 3 different sizes and each are available in 8 different colors. Made for both saltwater and freshwater fishing applications. These baits will last longer than pork or plastic baits. The baits come in a re-closeable jar. These baits are pre-scented. The scent is made from premium squid, fish oils, combined with a worm oil lubricant. These baits are made from a soft flexible material that is able to successfully hold scents. These baits won't dry up if they are left out in the sun or air. These tail baits can used on umbrella jigs, fluke rigs, or alone on a single hook with an egg sinker and cast on light tackle. When fished on an umbrella jig these tails feature swim action without twisting.
- When scent needs to be recharged simply return to the jar with worm oil lubricant.
- Peel apart to separate these baits as they are attached to each other in pairs.

Better than fluke belly
Love it, when I can't get my hands on some fluke strips, I turn to otter tails just as good or better

I do a lot of saltwater fishing 🎣 and saw a utube with John Skinner using these tails. I have the same problem with sand perch and sea bass bitting off the 4" Berkly gulp tails. I cut the Otter tail down and replace the gulp tail with the Otter tail. Works great. I put the jig and Otter tail in my gulp container to recharge it and keep on fishing 😎 For ten bucks it's worth a try. Great service and quick delivery 📦
ProsStayed on hook and even blue fish 🟠didn't tear it upðŸ‘

Way better than plastic
I use Otter strips to tip my bucktails when casting for stripers in the surf. I switched over to these about a year ago. The action is truly amazing, and I no longer use plastic trailers. At first I was worried about durability, but they hold up well.

Long lasting teaser!
First cast using a white OT fooled a nice 21 inch flounder. 3/4 Buck tail tipped with a white Otter Tail.

What an AMAZING product! I've fished these from the Gulf of Mexico to the gulf of Maine. Bait is a thing of the past, I've caught red snapper in Florida and two weeks later cod fish off of Maine with these tails, they last forever. Even with the critters with a lot of teeth. My favorite is the pink! Will be buying many more jars.
ProsHolds scent, reusable and TUFF

Great Uncle Josh Replacement
Since Uncle Josh pork strips are no longer produced, I needed to find a replacement. A friend recommended the Otter strips and they're excellent. I cut them in half for a slim profile, or use them whole for more action. Work great for fluke, bass, or blues.
ProsDurable Nice action
ConsA little wide and usually need to be cut in half lengthwise Bluefish bite them in half

Have been fishing it 4-5 times a week for the past month and am still using my first tail out of the package. Outlasts pork baits by a mile and, as advertised, does not dry out in the sun.

This is a great alternative to live worms on the tube and worm. It saves that trip to the bait shop the night before or morning of when tube/worm may or may not be in the arsenal for the day.
ProsTough, able to reuse one tail over and over. can keep a jar in the boat or in the bag and use if needed/when needed.
