Penn Rampage Boat Rods were designed for charter boats or anglers that need durability in a variety of fishing situations. Constructed with tubular glass blank for extra strength, Penn Rampage also features a solid glass tip that helps keep the rod tip from breaking even when high sticked.

A heavy duty Pac Bay reel seat ensures a secure lock on the reel foot, eliminating flex while under heavy load. Each rod features guides built with heavy duty stainless steel frames and aluminum oxide inserts that are perfect for both mono and braided lines. RAMBW2050C56AR has Pac Bay roller guides; RAMBW2050C60RS & RAMBW3080C60RS have Pac Bay roller stripper.
  • 1 piece tubular glass blank with solid tip
  • Stainless steel guides with aluminum oxide inserts
  • Triangular shaped EVA grips

An $8.00 oversize packaging charge applies to this item as it ships in a long heavy duty tube to protect your items. This fee will still apply when discount shipping coupons are used.

Great Value

Was looking for a lighter / all purpose bottom rod. Got to use it for the first time yesterday, and it fit the bill. Great on feeling the bite for Triggers and vermillions. Maybe a little light for big grouper and snappers, but I did pull up a keeper cobia on my first drop. Aside from maybe getting something on clearance, it'll Pretty hard to find a better rod for $60. Lets hope it holds up, but I'm pretty happy with the purchase........ only regret is that I wish I got a 7' instead of the 6-6.

I bought several of these rods to use as "loaners" for a college fishing club. These rods are a bit heavier than I would typically use, but to hand to students with little saltwater fishing experience, they're perfect. These rods can handle just about any fish that one might encounter under normal circumstances. The quality and appearance of these rods is very nice.
